Job Summary
The Arrears Clearance Coordinator position at Marks Consulting Partners involves playing a critical role in resolving rent arrears and ensuring timely payment of revenue due. As a key member of our team, you will utilise your excellent communication and organisational skills to negotiate with tenants, resolve disputes, and drive outstanding results. You will also collaborate with the housing management team to develop and implement effective strategies for reducing arrears and improving customer satisfaction.
About the Role
This is an excellent opportunity for a highly motivated and driven individual to take ownership of achieving and maintaining low levels of current rent and former tenancy arrears. You will work closely with the Income Manager and other members of the team to deliver exceptional customer service, promote positive relationships with tenants, and contribute to the success of our organisation.
Key Responsibilities
- Resolve rent arrears through negotiation and liaison with tenants
- Collaborate with the housing management team to develop and implement effective strategies for reducing arrears and improving customer satisfaction
- Ensure timely payment of revenue due by negotiating and agreeing settlement terms with tenants
Requirements
- Excellent communication and organisational skills, with the ability to negotiate and resolve disputes
- Strong understanding of housing law and regulations, including Pre-action Protocols
- Proven track record of resolving rent arrears and delivering exceptional customer service
