We are looking for a bank Senior Respiratory Physiologist, who will provide specialist clinical knowledge and skills in a broad range of respiratory physiological investigations and deliver expert care for patients undergoing diagnosis and treatment in the Cardiology & Respiratory Department. Working alongside leading Consultants, you will be competent in performing a wide range of respiratory procedures including; spirometry, full standard lung function tests, FeNO, respiratory muscle weakness tests, mannitol bronchial challenge testing, bronchodilator reversibility assessments and cardio-pulmonary exercise tests (CPET).
As an experienced Respiratory Physiologist, you will demonstrate your skills in interpreting real-time results and communicating findings to relevant team members and Consultant. Though you may work autonomously, you will always have the strong support of your team and managers.
What you’ll bring:
1. ARTP certification is desirable
2. Sleep knowledge of scoring polygraphy/home sleep studies and running CPAP clinics
3. Substantial post qualification experience of working within a respiratory unit
4. In possession of or working towards attaining Intermediate Life Support status
5. Confident communicator with high levels of written and spoken English
