CONSULTANT IN KIRKLEES Child and Adolescent Psychiatry

South West Yorkshire Partnership Foundation Trust are recruiting for a Consultant Psychiatrist to join the Child and Adolescent mental health team based at Cullingworth Street, Dewsbury, WF13 4AN.
This role plays a vital part in ensuring our patients receive the care that they need and will be an integral role within the CAMHS SERVICE.
We are looking for an enthusiastic and dynamic Consultant Psychiatrist who is passionate about providing timely services in an outpatient setting and ensuring safe and effective interventions are delivered to our vulnerable population. The CAMHS outpatient team comprises of neurodevelopmental, learning disabilities, crisis, eating disorders pathways and core CAMHS comprising of multidisciplinary with good skill set. The Consultant will work with all the disciplines of the team, and with external agencies within the child's network, to provide assessments, consultation, advice, and support to ensure the best possible clinical outcomes for young people presenting to our service.
The post holder will be offered additional PAs for leadership and caseload management. There will also be opportunities to work flexibly and virtually depending on clinical needs.

Transport

Experience
* Fully registered with the GMC with a licence to practise at the time of appointment.
* Included on the GMC Specialist Register for Child and Adolescent Psychiatry OR within six months of gaining CCT.
* Approved clinician status OR able to achieve within three months of appointment.
* Approved under S12 OR able to achieve within three months of appointment.
* In good standing with GMC with respect to warning and conditions on practice.

Qualifications
* MB BS or equivalent medical qualification.
* Qualification or higher degree in medical education, clinical research or management.
* Additional clinical qualifications.
