We are looking for an experienced and dynamic clinician to join the Integrated Community Services Division Leadership Team working alongside other Allied Health Practitioners and Principle Service Leads. You will be responsible for all aspects of podiatry and other AHP services management including leading a team, providing expert clinical guidance and direction, and engaging with partner agencies including Social Services, GP’s, community and voluntary services/agencies. The post includes a mix of clinical and management responsibilities based on service needs, working across both hospital and community settings. You will manage a caseload, providing a highly specialist podiatric and therapeutic service to people with diverse presentations and complex medical, physical and psychological needs, and provide expert clinical guidance to the Multidisciplinary Team (MDT) and other professionals within Bolton FT NHS Foundation Trust. f you are ready for the next step in your career progression and want to be part of an organisation with a people centred culture that offers excellent professional development opportunities then this is the job for you To undertake a service leadership role in planning, co-ordinating, delivering, developing and evaluating the services. To ensure effective, efficient delivery of services. To provide a Clinical Lead role providing direction and professional advice on all matters relating to podiatry services. To performance manage the service and take appropriate effective action when necessary, liaising with the Service Manager and producing regular performance reports, ensuring early escalation of any issues. To be responsible for Clinical Governance meetings and aspects of the service including managing departmental research and audit activities timely and effectively. To maintain and develop communication networks with key players within partner agencies including Bolton FT NHS Foundation Trust, Social Services, GP’s, community and voluntary services/agencies to develop policy and procedure for multi-professional practice for people. To undertake a balance of clinical and managerial roles as service needs demand.
