We also have specialised relationship managers who support customers with bespoke requirements, including high net worth and ultra-high-net-worth clients. The Broker New Business Support Manager will provide high quality support and assistance to our intermediary partners across the different elements of their life application journey. The role involves servicing, managing, and supporting engagement with external intermediary partners via telephone, email, and additional communication methods. It will also involve identifying adviser query trends, signposting tools for advisers to self-manage, and engaging with allocated BDMs to help develop increased business levels. The role offers the chance to learn a wide range of skills and knowledge across underwriting, commission, onboarding, and application processing. In this role you will: Taking responsibility for resolving an adviser’s query effectively. Taking broker calls and creating positive broker outcomes while maintaining relevant SLAs. Achieving consistent, positive adviser feedback through measured interactions. Supporting the commercial/product/propositional elements of new and existing partnerships and providing feedback to shape the proposition continuously. Ensuring consistent delivery of a superior customer experience and service level for external intermediary partnerships while liaising with various internal stakeholders. Working closely with the BDM team to identify coaching and development opportunities with advisers and firms. Influencing stakeholders to help deliver protection forecasts and managing multiple relationships at all levels with external stakeholders. Effectively managing risk by identifying risks and working with your Line Manager and the wider risk function to ensure ongoing protection of business and functions. To be successful in this role you will have the following requirements: Experience working in relevant environments, such as Financial Services or related disciplines. Experience in the UK external Intermediary Market. Past experience working with brokers/advisers using various communication channels. Proven experience leading the delivery of excellent broker/customer service and seeking innovative improvements. Excellent communication skills and experience influencing others. Effective networking abilities both internally and externally. Understanding of regulatory frameworks and compliance in financial services.
