We are searching for a Head of Maths with a proven track record of enhancing student outcomes and pushing the boundaries of A Level Maths. You will be leading an experienced team of teachers within a well-equipped department that fosters an exciting and dynamic learning environment. Your ability to inspire and motivate your colleagues will be a significant asset. Our classrooms are designed to be interactive, featuring large whiteboards and mini whiteboards to encourage student collaboration. Additionally, we proudly participate in the UK Maths Challenge. Our strong connections with higher education institutions, including Imperial College London, offer unique opportunities for our students to engage with university-level courses and undergraduate ambassadors.
This is a full time, permanent role. The salary will be paid on the Sixth Form Colleges’ scale NJC scale 1 – 9 (£37,057 - £54,604) + Additional Responsibilities Allowance ranging from RAX1 £7,738- RAX3 £9,030 inclusive of Inner London Weighting. Progression will increase by one scale point each year, subject to satisfactory appraisal outcomes, until scale 9 is reached.
