What skills and experience we're looking for
We require a permanent Cover Supervisor to join us to provide daily cover of lessons.
The successful candidate will join a team who supervise classes across the curriculum and age range. Classes will ordinarily have work pre-set for them. Full training for successful applicants will be provided.
A Cover Supervisor will ensure a safe and positive learning environment is maintained and that all students behave in an appropriate manner. We are looking for people who are enthusiastic and passionate about education and determined to make a difference to the lives of our students.
Applicants should have a GCSE Grade C or equivalent in English and Maths, with some experience of working in schools or with young people.
The appointment is 33.75 hours, term time plus 1 week (Training Days),
Working Pattern: 8.15 am – 3.30 pm
Salary will be paid at NJC SCP Grade 9 Point 24 to 28 (starting point 24)
equating to an actual salary of £26,809 - £29,641 per annum.
