The on target earning potential for this role is £30,943 per annum - comprising a base salary of £23,443, plus a qualified estimate of £7500 in gratuities and service charge. Here's a bit more detail on what we see you doing in this role: (Add role specifics) An essential player in our team, you’ll be responsible for the set-up of our exceptional event spaces across the estate within the main hotel and outside lawn areas Covering a variety of shifts each week, your primary responsibilities will be arranging equipment, linen, glassware, and stock to ensure our events are perfectly set and ready to receive our guests; you’ll also take responsibility for lifting and positioning 6-foot tables and pushing heavy equipment into a variety of locations independently You’ll take great pride in maintaining the highest standards of service, room preparation and presentation throughout these spaces Setting your colleagues up for success, no two events are ever the same at Gleneagles, you’ll make sure they have everything they need in place Effectively managing your own time, ensuring you meet our set up deadlines, whether it’s a full schedule for the following day or a quick room flip in an hour You’ll take a keen interest in the whole operation and with your experience, proactively make suggestions as to how we can further increase the quality of our service Supporting your team, always warm, professional, helpful and doing everything you can to collaborate, playing your part in making our everts exceptional Interacting with our guests, always warm, professional, helpful and doing everything you can to exceed their expectations; playing your part in making their stay with us luxurious in every way Covering a variety of shifts each week, your primary responsibilities; arranging equipment, linen, glassware, and stock to ensure our events are perfectly set and ready to receive our guests Interacting with our guests, always warm, professional, helpful and doing everything you can to exceed their expectations; playing your part in making their stay with us luxurious in every way The kind of person we're looking for: Your genuine warmth and desire to support and exceed expectations shines through, and having a great attitude is essential Supremely reliable, you have outstanding planning, organisation, attention to detail and time management skills You have a fantastic ability to take initiative and work independently; you’re also adept at juggling a number of priorities, sometimes conflicting Highly motivated and possessing an immense sense of pride in your work; you're passionate about delivering the high standards for our guests in line with the Gleneagles brand You’ll have a positive “can do” attitude to solving problems in a professional and courteous manner.
