About the role
Applications are invited for a Lecturer in Statistics. We are looking for candidates with research expertise in the broad area of Statistics.
About us
The School is part of the Faculty of Science and Engineering, which comprises five schools and two institutes. The Faculty's student population has grown in recent years, both within the UK and overseas, and its research profile has strengthened considerably.
The School has large and popular undergraduate and graduate programmes, and aims to continue to expand its research profile as well as its study programmes across both UG and PGT. This position will be based in the Centre for Data Science, Statistics and Probability.
About you
As the successful candidate, you will have strong leadership qualities and an interest in pursuing excellence in teaching and supervising graduate students, as well as having the ability and flexibility to teach across a range of topics in statistics and its applications at undergraduate and postgraduate level. Successful applicants will have demonstrated exceptional potential for achieving research excellence.

The post is full-time and permanent with an expected start date of March 2025 or as soon as possible thereafter. Starting salary will be in the range of £50,685 - £59,495 per annum inclusive of London Allowance, subject to experience and qualifications.
