About the Role: Our Legal Team is expanding, and we are seeking a talented and experienced Senior Assistant Company Secretary to join us The successful candidate will work closely with the Deputy Company Secretary and other senior management to ensure that all company secretarial duties are completed in compliance with legal and regulatory requirements. You will be joining a relatively small secretariat of approximately four people; however, this is an incredibly broad and varied role within a highly effective governance team. The role will provide an opportunity to lead on projects as well as helping to shape and embed the governance framework across the Group. Maintain accurate and up-to-date records and files and liaise with local country legal and cosec teams. Organize and prepare board and committee meetings, including setting agendas, preparing minutes, and handling follow-up actions. Ensure that all statutory filings are completed accurately and on time. Maintain the company's statutory registers. Provide support and advice to the board of directors and senior management on company secretarial matters. Project manage and assist with the preparation and distribution of annual reports, including working with external auditors and internal teams. Help design and deliver group-wide governance and compliance framework. Keep up to date with changes to company law and best practice. This list is not exhaustive and may be added to or amended from time to time. What we’re looking for: Strong knowledge of company law, corporate governance, and regulatory compliance. Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to liaise effectively with senior stakeholders. Proficiency in computer skills, including SharePoint, Blueprint and Diligent Entities or other software platforms. Proactive and business-minded, with a commitment to delivering high-quality work within strict deadlines. Confident written and oral communication skills. Ability to build long-lasting working relationships with individuals across all levels of a company, including senior management, directors, and other staff members.
