Job Description
A leading infrastructure contractor is looking for a Procurement Manager to join their team in Central London.
The main objective is to support the delivery of pre-construction procurement strategies for a major rail framework. You will be:
* Setting procurement strategies and managing scopes of work for pre-construction materials and subcontracts.
* Leading a small procurement team.
* Part of the pre-construction development team, support operational teams with mobilising new supply chains.
* Ensure operational teams are provided with appropriate well qualified supply chains.
* Analyse strategic procurement data, adding relevant findings into future procurement strategies.

Further Details
* You will be working with pre-construction teams to create procurement strategies for a variety of Network Rail projects across the south of England.
* Projects can range from £500k to £30m+ across overhead lines, track works, civils, embankments, stations and depots.
Candidate Requirements
* Our client is looking for candidates with 5+ years subcontract procurement experience for a main contractor
* You will currently be working within the infrastructure sector but our client is also open to building sectors.
* Must have a strong personality to be able to manage challenging stakeholders
