This is an exciting opportunity for someone with a business support mentality and a positive, can-do attitude. The ideal candidate will be familiar with the patent system and preferably have hands-on experience in an in-house patent department or patent law firm. However, we are open to exceptional candidates who demonstrate the necessary skills, willingness to learn, and genuine interest in the role. Key Responsibilities Assist in the preparation of new patent specifications. File new patent applications at the UK Patent Office and coordinate with outside counsel in other jurisdictions. Support in-house patent attorneys with drafting letters and patent amendments during the examination process. Collaborate with the Head of Department to drive continual improvements within the team. Work with the Patent Administration Manager on unique projects as they arise. Identify and implement ways to enhance support for the department.
