Your Roles and Responsibilities as a Live-in Care Assistant As a Live-In Care Assistant you will be residing in a university setting with one of our customers. You are there to assist with personal care, moving and handling (all transfers using equipment), meals and fluids, assist with getting to classes, food shopping and domestic duties and administering medication. You will live with our customer for 2 weeks on and 2 weeks off. You will be required to have a full driving licence and use of your own car. Previous experience is required. You must have knowledge of physical disabilities Live-in Care Assistants are matched to our customers to ensure our customers and you get along so the most important thing to us is that you are naturally compassionate, caring and patient. We want a team who genuinely cares for each of our customers as if they were their own family. Competitive rates of pay Enhanced rates for Bank Holidays If you use your own vehicle for customer use, you will be entitled to 40p per mile? An allowance from the customer. You will also have a separate room to stay and access to a TV and WIFI. You will have regular contact with your supervisor along with access to our career pathway allowing you to gain qualifications to grow your knowledge and confidence to provide the very best care to our customers.
