As a IT Service Manager at HS2 you will be responsible for service management across platforms, products and services, working across internal IT functions and external IT Operation Teams to ensure IT service availability, capacity and performance. About the role: To be responsible for managing and assuring service delivery of platform, products and services ensuring end to end co-ordination and management. To be accountable for managing and escalating incidents, ensuring coordination of resolving parties, communication to stakeholders and post incident review. To be accountable for managing the service delivery of business systems ensuring they have been assigned an IT lead and administered accordingly. To be responsible for informing and helping define service level agreements (SLAs) and operational level agreements (OLAs) across all relevant business functions. To be accountable for the development and maturity of a multi-sourced service support team with a customer-centric support approach across multiple locations, focused on service availability and performance. To be responsible for the provision of adequate reporting and ensures service standards are met for their specific service. To be accountable for the escalation of technical change communication, and how it is managed as per the HS2 Internal Communications strategy. About You: Skills: Business analysis. Ability to lead investigative work into problems with and opportunities in existing processes, driving the collection of information and creation of recommendations for improvements. Ability to use data analytics skills to enhance business performance. Knowledge: Knowledge of digital information, digital contexts and design services that fit them, new technologies and their potential application Knowledge of IT Service Frameworks, Methodologies and best practice. Types of Experience: Experience of managing multiple services provisioned on enterprise platforms Experience of managing internal and external teams. Experience of balancing multiple priorities to deliver a complex service or project for stakeholders. Experience of producing reports that provide governance and assurance for service standards.
