Hotel Technology Deployment Manager (12 Months FTC)

In this role you will be responsible for management and delivery of technology projects consistent with IHG’s vision and global strategy in our hotels. This position will ensure all projects undertaken are implemented against an agreed timeline and a budget.
Your day to day
* Manage the timely delivery of technology products and services associated with Opening, converting, closing, or generally improving hotels in the IHG system, where this work can be done centrally.
* Maintain a trusted relationship with key stakeholders specifically Area Technology Managers, Product Management, Stay Experience, Hotel Infrastructure, and senior management.
* Sustain excellent relationships and effective vendor management with our key technology suppliers and partners.
* Work with system vendors and Area Technology Managers to manage and communicate the release schedule of product updates for Europe and IMEA Hotels (e.g., Property Management Systems, Point of Sales) maintaining fiscal, regulatory, and legal compliance, important feature updates and bug fixes.
* Work with Area Technology Managers to drive compliance with product Brand Standards e.g., Property Management System, IHG Connect.
* Manage the planning, communication, tracking & progress reporting of on property technology implementations which may include but is not limited to “out of band” Cyber security updates, End of Life systems, IHG Connect roll-out, IHG TMS implementation etc.
* Ongoing management of existing installed products through their lifecycle e.g., upgrades, security updates.
* Responsible for the management of the IHG salesforce “Technology Management Inventory” and IT Contact information for hotels in Europe and IMEA, to be as complete and accurate as possible.
* Responsible for the management of the IHG Salesforce Market place ‘NHOP Technology Deployment’ project workflow.
* Provide the senior manager, hotel technology lifecycle management with regular and timely updates on the technology projects landscape.

* Experience in Hospitality industry, with roles focused on technology services and project management.
* Project Management professional (PMP) will be an advantage.
Critical Expertise & Experience:
* Experience working in a busy, mission critical team.
* Experience of deploying technology solutions in a hospitality setting an advantage.
* Demonstrated experience working in a regional environment.
* Ability to work in a fast-paced environment. Geographically and culturally aware team player. Experience in hotel operations is desirable.
Technical Skills & Knowledge:
* Good working knowledge of Microsoft Office tools, databases, CRM such as Salesforce.
* Knowledge/experience using project management tools/software will be an advantage.
