Job Overview:
Supply Well is seeking an experienced Science Teacher to join our team in St Helens. As a key member of our faculty, you will be responsible for delivering the science curriculum to students of various levels.
Main Responsibilities:
* Deliver high-quality science lessons to students, tailoring your approach to meet the needs of different learners;
* Create innovative lesson plans and assessments that promote student engagement and understanding;
* Foster a positive and inclusive learning environment that encourages collaboration and creativity;
* Work closely with colleagues to develop and implement curriculum resources that meet the needs of all students;
* Evaluate student progress and understanding, using data to inform instruction and improve outcomes;
* Maintain accurate records of student progress and achievement;
* Participate in staff meetings and training sessions to stay up-to-date with best practices and developments in education.
Requirements:
To be successful in this role, you will need:
* A strong background in science education, with experience teaching students of various ages and abilities;
* The ability to create engaging and effective lesson plans and assessments;
* Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to work collaboratively with colleagues and students;
* Strong organizational and time management skills, with the ability to prioritize tasks and manage multiple responsibilities;
* A commitment to ongoing professional development, with a desire to stay up-to-date with best practices and developments in education.
Salary:
£35,000 - £45,000 per annum, depending on experience.
