Telesales Team Manager - Lead Generation Team

We are looking for someone who will lead, develop and motivate a high performing sales team of Telemarketing Executives in line with the department’s key objectives and KPIs as well as supporting the SME Digital & Telesales Manager to achieve a high return on investment and deliver on departmental targets and KPI’s. Your core responsibilities
* Lead, develop, and motivate a team of Telesales Executives to exceed sales, conversion, quality, and productivity targets, while managing employee metrics like absence, attrition, and engagement.
* Gather regular feedback from the sales team, sharing key insights with the business.
* Conduct daily huddles, monthly 1:1s, and quarterly team meetings to ensure priorities are clear and immediate concerns are addressed.
* Review performance reports and communicate variances to targets, ensuring timely corrective actions are taken to maintain service levels.
* Ensure the team fully understands company processes and compliance standards, flagging any gaps to the Telesales Department Manager.
* Provide formal and informal coaching, performance assessments, and development plans to help the team meet their objectives.
* Manage department resources in alignment with eCommerce and campaign activity to ensure optimal coverage.
* Support recruitment, induction, and ongoing training efforts as needed.
* Build strong relationships with key stakeholders, including Regional Teams, Customer Services, and Process Improvement/Quality Teams.
Our essential responsibilities
* At least 3 years of experience in a fast-paced sales environment.
* A minimum of 1 year of team leadership experience.
* Proven leadership skills with the ability to coach and motivate teams effectively.
* A track record of consistently meeting and exceeding targets and KPIs.
* Proficient in Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, Outlook, Teams).
