At IRIS Software Group, we’re on the lookout for an experienced Senior FP&A Analyst to join our talented Finance team. You’ll play a critical role in providing high-quality financial information to senior leaders, investors, and stakeholders. With exposure to senior management, Exco, and the board, this is a fantastic opportunity to make your mark in a fast-paced environment.
This is a hybrid position, requiring 1–2 days per week in our Slough/Heathrow Approach (SL3 8QY) offices, giving you the flexibility to balance your professional and personal commitments.
What will you be doing?
As a Senior FP&A Analyst, you’ll be at the heart of our financial planning and analysis. Your responsibilities will include:
1. Financial Reporting: Leading the production of monthly, quarterly, and annual reporting packs for internal and external stakeholders, ensuring high standards and attention to detail.
2. Business Partnering: Collaborating with back-office cost centres and operational stakeholders to provide insights that drive performance.
3. M&A Integration: Standardising reporting and modelling processes for newly acquired businesses to align with the IRIS framework.
4. Data and Modelling: Maintaining the Group Financial Model, Group Data Model, and creating dashboards for Exco and board reporting using Power BI, Excel, and Power Query.
5. Strategic Projects: Supporting the annual budget, 5-year plan, bonus modelling, and ad hoc analysis to influence key business decisions.
6. Stakeholder Collaboration: Partnering with external investors and lenders to manage queries and build comprehensive reporting packs.
What are we looking for?
We’re seeking a forward-thinking Finance professional who is passionate about driving business performance. You’ll ideally have:
1. Qualifications: CIMA, ACA, or ACCA qualified (or part-qualified) with a degree or equivalent experience.
2. Technical Expertise: Proficiency in MS Excel, Power Query, Power BI, and familiarity with enterprise systems like NetSuite.
3. Experience: Background in finance business partnering, ideally in a software, subscription, or high-growth industry. Experience in deal modelling or transaction services is a plus.
4. Analytical Skills: Strong financial modelling and reporting skills, with the ability to dive deep into data while keeping the big picture in focus.
5. Key Competencies: A methodical approach, attention to detail, adaptability, and a proactive attitude. You’ll be confident challenging processes, recommending improvements, and delivering results.
