Berry Recruitment are looking for a part time School Travel Admin Assistant to join a local authority based at the central Southampton office.
This is a contract role for 6 months with a possible extension. Working Wednesday 1-5pm, Thursday and Friday 7.5 hours.
Hourly pay rate of £14.46.
The main purpose of this role is to play a key administrative role in supporting the School Travel Service.
Main Duties:
Carry out administrative activities to support the provision of safe, efficient and effective school travel services for children and young persons from 5-25 years of age
Support activities for the travel planning and daily operational activities to deliver effective travel arrangements
Raising purchase orders
Ensure all school travel records in the school travel database are accurate and up to date
Answer and manage daily enquiries and manage issues including timings, amendments, cancellations, complaints, accidents and safeguarding issues
Process travel budgets and bus pass applications accurately
On a rota basis provide AM and PM office cover to support early morning and late afternoon travelCandidate Requirements:
Administration experience is essential
Computer literate and experience using Microsoft Office
