Job summary Ward 20 is the ENT, Head and Neck, Maxillofacial Surgery Ward. Staff are specifically trained to care for these patients and have a well established pathway. This is supported by an ENT Specialist Nurse and a Practice Development Nurse. An exciting opportunity has arisen to provide a permanent post on a busy Ear, Nose and Throat, Maxillofacial Surgery Ward. Our ward has 30 beds and undertakes a wide variety of ENT/Maxillofacial Surgical procedures plus tracheostomies and laryngectomies. 2025 will be a particularly exciting year for Ward 20 as we prepare for the transfer of our vascular service. This will mean the opportunity to get involved in the planning and implementation of service developments including enhanced observation beds and a bespoke training plan for staff, in partnership with the leadership team and Vascular Specialist Nurses.
