Aramark UK are currently recruiting a Casual Weekend Kitchen Porter/Cleaner to join our team working at St James Palace, Marlborough Road, London SW1A 1BS.
You will be responsible for cleaning accommodation and offices on site. You will be cleaning to a high standard, ensuring all tasks are complete in good time and all equipment is stored safely.

To be eligible for this role, due to the sector requirements: you must have been a UK resident for the past 3 years and have legal right to work in the UK and be able to pass full security vetting and DBS checks.

A day in the life of a Kitchen Porter/Cleaner:
- You will be cleaning accommodation and offices, ensuring all standards are maintained throughout and all cleaning tasks are completed in a timely manner.
- Supporting with the running of a busy kitchen, including prepping food, pot washing, assisting chefs, etc.
- Reporting hazards and checking over equipment to ensure they are in good condition, reporting any issues to management.
- You will be working alone on occasion and as part of a team, working together to ensure all daily tasks have been covered.
- Duties will include sweeping, mopping, hoovering, rubbish disposal and other general duties attached to the role.
You will be set up for success if you have:
- Must have resided in the UK for the past 5 years and have legal right to work.
- Must be able to pass full security vetting and DBS checks.
- Previous kitchen porter experience.
- Previous experience would be an advantage but on the job training will be provided. This role will require a hard working individual who will work well within a small team.
