Liaison and Diversion Support Worker Band 3
A new and exciting opportunity has arisen for an enthusiastic B3 Support worker to work within our embedded community outreach team within the current existing Liaison and Diversion service.
The team with support of criminal justice partners and colleagues aims to divert people away from the criminal justice system and reduce reoffending by addressing underlying social vulnerabilities and unmet needs.

Working within our Warwickshire Outreach team, you will support the teams practitioners in their assessment and interventions by identifying social vulnerabilities, working with partners within the third and voluntary sectors such as substance/alcohol misuse services/housing services etc to meet unmet needs/vulnerabilities and provide short term ongoing support in the community, to ensure they are able to access further support needed on discharge.
You will liaise with liaison and diversion outreach practitioners, key stakeholders and partners within the criminal justice system as well as the third sector.

The Criminal Justice Liaison and Diversion service is a an existing successful service embedded in the heart of the criminal justice system, all age/all vulnerability we support some of the most marginalised people within society with a range of health and social needs in the hope that working together we can make subsequent health gains, reduce health inequalities and reduce the cycle of re offending .
