Job Description:
DSJ Global are searching for a Supply Chain Manager to come in, and establish a central supply chain function across this client's multiple business units. With investment backing from a parent organization with an enviable track-record in the market, this organisation has grown from strength-to-strength acquiring multiple entities across Europe and the USA. The right candidate will have a passion for change management, bringing together these multiple 'local businesses' to grow a more 'mature', 'synergised' organisation - rolling out group-wide processes and best practices.
Responsibilities
* Define and roll-out a Global Supply Chain strategy across the existing entities.
* Form a central, group-wide supply chain function, establishing best practices across planning, procurement/sourcing, inventory management and logistics/transportation.
* Lead the business through consolidation of multiple tools/systems (ERP Systems), ensuring definition and adoptions is optimized from a supply chain perspective.
* Drive performance through development of new KPI Dashboards across the entire supply chain network, using these to achieve operational excellence.
* Change Management: Create and optimize processes across all the international locations, ensuring successful adoption and long-term implementation by working together with the local entities.
* Optimize the group sourcing strategy, overseeing supplier performance, contract negotiation and supplier relationship management.
* Increase cross-functional visibility and collaboration to drive performance improvements across lead time, cost, on-time delivery, etc.
Skills/Experience Required
* Experience overseeing the end-to-end supply chain, including Supply Planning, Procurement, Inventory Management and Logistics.
* Ability to work on-site.
* Fluency in English is required.
* Ability to manage international teams, fostering a global supply chain culture across multiple locations (which have traditionally worked separately).
* Passion for change management: Able to clearly articulate strategic vision to both junior and senior stakeholders across different business functions.
* Capable of working in a technical/engineering environment (experience in high-mix manufacturing environments could be beneficial).
What's great about this role?
* Transformative: Joining the business at a time where Supply Chain (and the establishment of a global function) is a huge value-driver for the organisation.
* Autonomous: Green light from board and upper management for real structural change across the business + investment from the group level to make it happen.
* Interesting: Market-leading product in this environment, ready for huge increases in volume and scale.
* Connected: Part of a wider global network, consisting of multiple different entities and with backing from investors with a strong track record.
