We are seeking a proactive, passionate and dedicated individual for the role of HTLA to be responsible for providing tailored support to a student with an EHCP. The key responsibility of the HLTA is to provide effective and timely support within the classroom, ensuring work is appropriately tailored to meet the needs of student, raise aspirations and work towards outcomes as identified in the EHCP. As the HLTA, you will monitor, evaluate and constantly improve the effectiveness of the quality of provision, ensuring all strategies have a positive impact on the performance the pupil. You will have: GCSE Maths and GCSE English (Level 4 and above) HLTA Qualification - must meet the professional standards for Higher Level Teaching Assistants Experience of tutoring in a school setting or another professional setting. Experience of working in a school environment The ability to motivate students and a desire to make a positive contribution to their education The ability to manage challenging behaviour in line with the school behaviour policy A commitment to the ethos of the school.
