Our Values The governors of Wyken Croft Primary School are excited to offer an Early Years Practitioner Role within our Phoenix Nursery team as soon as possible. The role is permanent for 37 hours per week term time only. There is however a possibility of part time for the right candidate. You will join a highly enthusiastic and well-established team within our Phoenix Nursery. The successful candidate must be able to provide a caring and stimulating environment for all children within the nursery setting and support the nursery manager in delivering the early years curriculum to all of the children. You need to be motivated have a positive attitude and be able to facilitate development through play promoting inclusion for all children within the busy nursery and hold the relevant qualification. Who are we looking for? The successful applicant will work alongside senior practitioners in the daily operation of the nursery and must;- Have the ability to deliver the Early Years Foundation Stage to all children Be able to monitor children's development and progress and plan for next steps Be motivated and have a positive attitude working within a team Have excellent communication links with parents/ carers of children within your key group Be able to recognise the individual needs of the children and work with them in groups or one to one activities, encouraging their stages of development Create a happy and safe environment for our children to flourish. Be able to ensure children’s individual needs are met Be able to provide high quality care and education Be able to deliver stimulating activities that promote children’s learning and development. Must have Level 3 Qualification in Childcare Interview Dates: Week commencing 9th December 2024 Our school is committed to safeguarding and promoting the welfare of children and young people and expects all staff and volunteers to share this commitment.
