JOB- Project Manager (Water Industry)
LOCATION- Maidstone
TERM- Permanent
SALARY- £55,000 to £70,000 per annum (plus benefits)
Premier Engineering is seeking an experienced Project Manager to join a leading company in the water industry, based in Maidstone. The successful candidate will oversee the planning, execution, and delivery of water-related infrastructure projects, ensuring they meet quality, budgetary, and timeline expectations.
The Project Manager will ideally have the following attributes:
A degree in Mechanical Engineering, Civil Engineering, Environmental Engineering, or a related field
Proven experience managing projects in the water industry, including wastewater or clean water infrastructure
Strong knowledge of water industry regulations and standards
Excellent project management skills, including budgeting, scheduling, and risk management
Proficiency in project management software such as MS Project or Primavera
Exceptional communication and leadership skills
Ability to manage and coordinate multidisciplinary teams
Full UK driving license and willingness to travel to project sites
The Project Manager role will involve:
Managing all aspects of water industry projects, from initiation to completion
Preparing project plans, budgets, and schedules, and ensuring they are adhered to
Coordinating with internal teams, contractors, and stakeholders to deliver projects effectively
Ensuring compliance with industry standards, health and safety regulations, and environmental requirements
Monitoring project progress, identifying risks, and implementing mitigation strategies
Leading regular project meetings and reporting progress to senior management and clients
Overseeing procurement and resource allocation to ensure smooth project delivery
Driving continuous improvement and implementing best practices in project management
