Location: Nottingham
Salary: £50,000 - £65,000 (Dependent on Experience)

The Nottingham office has 2 people in the civils team who are a technician and engineer. The Nottingham office does a lot of education projects including residential ones and the work can be a very reactive fast-paced environment.
As the Civil Teams Leader/Engineer, you will be responsible for:
* Producing schematic/concept designs and detailed design of drainage and highways using Civils 3D
* Undertaking drainage and Sustainable Drainage Systems (SUDS) designs using Causeway Flow
* Preparing Flood Risk Assessments and Drainage Strategy reports for planning
* Collaborating with other construction professionals in design development and project management as necessary
* Mentoring and resourcing junior team members
* Project leader and manager of project finances
Main requirements:
* Good Civils 3D or equivalent with drainage networks experience
* Experience of sustainable drainage systems concept and detailed design - essential
* Highways design - S278/S38 agreements – desirable
* Experience of mentoring and resourcing junior team members with a proactive approach
* Line management experience to support team members in their career development
* Professionally qualified or demonstrably working towards professional qualification
* Interest in working in a variety of sectors supporting NHS, Department for Education and private sector
* Experience of liaising with authorities and design team members with problem-solving approach
