This job role is for Game on England. CRT Game On uses the power of sport to change lives for the better in former coalfield communities. Our free sessions allow everyone to get involved, get active and learn new skills.
To provide basic administration support to programmes in England.
To provide a welcoming point of contact for the CRT's programmes of activity: handling enquiries whilst ensuring service standards are met.
Main requirements of the roles:

Contacts & Relationships: Routinely exchange straightforward information.
Decisions: Carry work out within clearly defined controls/procedures. This will involve taking basic work decisions, which will have a limited effect on staff/the public and can be readily amended, if necessary.
Resources: Adhere to data protection measures and observe confidentiality at all times.
Work Demands: On rare occasions switch from one task to another in a different area of work and prioritise work.
Knowledge & Skills: Basic standard of practical knowledge and skills to undertake a limited range of routine tasks, predominately administrative in nature, involving the application of readily understood controls, procedures working with Microsoft office and other computerised systems.

Strong attention to detail, with the ability to accurately input information into programme databases and spreadsheets.
Experience and skilled in using Microsoft Office applications, Word, Excel, Access and PowerPoint and a familiarisation with using social media applications.
Adaptability and imitative to take on additional tasks and look for opportunities to improve operations where appropriate.
Ability to undertake research, analyse data and produce basic reports.
Desirable:
Experience of working with community groups, voluntary organisations and social enterprises.
An understanding of the challenges faced by former mining communities.
Enthusiasm for sports and promoting healthy lifestyles within communities.
Some experience in volunteering or involvement in Sports activities.
Interest in pursuing coaching qualifications.
Training: Delivery to be completed on site and off the job training either at Barnsley College or your place of work. Student to complete a Business Administrator Level 3 Apprenticeship.
