RESPONSIBILITIES Design and Development: Design Engineer (Mechanical) The design, development, verification and implementation of technically innovative and commercially To ensure that all component parts and products are designed in strict compliance with mandatory national and international regulatory requirements and standards. The maintenance and improvement of existing products and components for quality improvement, production efficiency and cost reduction. To manage and lead projects when required, providing engineering leadership ensuring that projects are delivered on time and to budget, from concept through to launch, some of which may be outside of the normal remit of the role in the design. The production and maintenance of technical documentations, including CAD drawings, costing data,, design calculations, bills of materials, test data etc. To assist the Engineering Management team as required.
