This insurer is arguably the most exciting insurer in the market right now and you will see it regularly in the press for winning awards, hiring some of the brightest minds in the industry, and developing new, innovative product lines.
This position has arisen as a result of the company’s impressive expansion; it is enjoying 20% year on year growth and is on track to double in size over the next 5 years.
Working within the specialist Financial Lines Division, you’ll be underwriting new business enquiries from a wide variety of brokers throughout the UK, using your sound technical and negotiation skills to secure profitable business.
Specific duties will include:
1. Underwriting a variety of commercial cases across various product lines.
2. Collaborating with the Claims team.
3. Developing and maintaining excellent working relationships with the Technical department and the wider business.
4. Getting involved in interesting ad hoc projects.
Much of the business is Professional Indemnity themed, and so you must have strong experience within the PI arena. Candidates from a variety of specialisms (such as the Professions, Miscellaneous, Tech, Life Sciences, etc.) will be considered. You’ll have excellent communication skills, together with a good track record of maintaining and developing relationships.
You’ll be rewarded with a generous basic salary (Negotiable depending on experience), plus a highly lucrative bonus scheme and impressive corporate benefits, which include substantial pension contributions.
Our client operates a hybrid-working arrangement, and for those who live far away from one of the offices, it can be predominantly home-based.
