Reporting to the Senior Security Guard on the TCS contract at MOD Oakhanger, the role will involve undertaking all physical security duties as and when required including patrolling, searching and escorting visitors and contractors and maintaining the integrity of the site.

Main responsibilities of the role include:
- Act as first line defence to support the TCS site mission.
- Carry out patrols and escort duties as required.
- Carry out vehicle and bag searches as required
- Issue and receipt of keys as appropriate.
- Make reports in the Daily Occurrence Log.
- Issue and receipt of site passes
- Correct operation of site CCTV, IDS, Entry Control systems.
- Liaise with other Site Security personnel and outside agencies as appropriate.
- Assist the training of new security Guards as required.
- Any other duties within scope as required by the Security Manager.
- Act as Fire Warden
Hold a Security Industry Authority Licence (SIA) - desirable
- Valid UK Full Car driving licence, and be willing to drive company
- vehicles.
- Good Communication skills.
- Experience of working in a secure government environment.
- Conversant with Microsoft Office Suite.
- Hold a current SC Security Clearance.
- Adherence to US (United States) clearance requirements in order to ensure access to US IT systems.
- Hold a valid First Aid at Work Certificate., Disability Confident
