Role Description
The Employment group is looking for a talented Solicitor with 7+ years PQE to join them as they continue to expand their business to an impressive range of clients, including many blue-chip organisations.

Experience/Attributes Required
* Broad understanding of the legal principles involved and experience in all aspects of employment law.
* Experience in Employment Tribunal and Employment Appeal Tribunal litigation.
* Experience in providing employment law support to corporate transactions, including conducting due diligence exercises, applying TUPE, and advising on warranties and indemnities in sale documentation.
* Excellent drafting skills, legal analysis, verbal & written communication skills, and employment law knowledge.
* Willingness to engage in marketing and business development activities.
* Ability to apply the law with commerciality and provide insights to clients.
* Experience in training seminars and workshop programmes for employers is advantageous.
* Ability to work relatively unsupervised on important, high-profile cases and for clients.
* Ability to assist with or lead/manage teams and supervise and develop junior staff.
* Maintain and develop relationships with clients.
* Promote the team’s services and identify opportunities to sell these and training products.
* Stay updated with current literature, publications, and circulars, sharing relevant news with the team.
* Ensure file management and administration are kept up to date.
* Work effectively both independently and as part of a team.
* Be prepared to work beyond normal hours when necessary in the interests of the firm or clients.
Work Type
* HR support for employer clients on a day-to-day basis.
* Guiding clients through disciplinary and other internal proceedings.
* TUPE issues in transactional work (including due diligence) and outsourcing.
* Employment termination, including compromise and other settlement agreements, as well as taxation implications and avoidance.
* Litigation for unfair and wrongful dismissal claims, and sex, race, and disability discrimination claims.
* Training seminars and workshop programmes for employer clients.
* Opportunity to gain experience in immigration and data protection issues.
* Advocacy before employment tribunals and courts.
