We are looking to recruit a talented and enthusiastic ESOL Curriculum Manager to join our highly successful and inclusive Sixth Form College. This is an exciting opportunity for a committed, inspirational, and dynamic individual with a passion for delivering high-quality ESOL education. The successful candidate will lead our ESOL provision, ensuring an outstanding student experience and supporting learners in achieving their full potential.
ESOL is an integral part of our curriculum, supporting students across Adult, Community, International, and 16-18 pathways. We are also expanding our provision for 16-18 students, developing new programmes to meet the needs of young learners and provide them with clear progression routes into further education and employment. The ESOL department works closely with other subject areas to offer a broad and enriching experience for students, including language development, academic support, and employability skills.
As Curriculum Manager, you will play a vital role in shaping and leading the ESOL team. You will be responsible for curriculum design, quality assurance, and staff development, ensuring that teaching standards remain high and that students receive the best possible support. A key aspect of the role is to enhance student engagement, monitor progress, and oversee pastoral care, working closely with teachers, student support services, and external stakeholders. You will also build strong partnerships with employers, colleges, and community organisations to create additional opportunities for students.
