About the role
Morrison Water Services is currently looking to recruit a Civil Ganger to work on our Anglian Water Alliance.
As a Civil Ganger you will be part of our Capital Delivery teamwho are responsible for Contract Support.
You will be working on the Anglian Water IOS Alliance, supporting the operations and completing remedial works over the Essex and Suffolk area.
As the Ganger your duties & responsibilities will be:
1. Setting up and maintaining a safe site
2. Construction of civil bases and structures
3. Construction of Pumping Stations
4. Chamber construction
5. Shuttering
6. Steelwork
7. Deep Excavations
8. Temporary works
9. Excavating onto assets and conducting any necessary repairs
10. Variety of other activities to support the contract
The Key Requirements
11. 360 over 10t
12. Dumper
13. SSSTS
14. Cat & Genny Trained
15. NRWSRA/Streetworks
16. Clean Water Hygiene card. This is desired but not essential.
17. Driving Licence. This is essential
18. First Aid Trained. This is desired but not essential.
Additional Information
19. You must possess a high degree of manual dexterity demonstrated through the use of hand tools.
20. You will be required to work outdoors in all weathers and be required to walk and stand on uneven ground.
21. You must also be able to work within a confined space, without restriction.
22. Willing to be flexible due to the nature of the works
