Business Development Manager - Hospital Equipment
My client is a rapidly growing manufacturer of intelligent workstations that are sold into the NHS. The equipment provides real-time data into patient records and drug requirements and drives real savings in time, accuracy, and creates efficiency. The range consists of both mobile and fixed solutions housing cutting-edge IT hardware.
The ROI for the NHS is real and rapid.
Due to substantial growth, they are now looking for a Business Development Manager with at least 4 years of SALES experience to drive sales in the Northern area.
The product sales process consists of:
1. Appointment booking with NHS staff such as ward, project, purchasing, and IT staff.
2. Extensive product demonstration both at hospital level and virtual.
3. Building relationships at NHS levels.
4. Using a CRM system to manage contacts and manage the territory.
5. Creating stellar quotes and proposals that convert.
6. Winning orders, typical value from £5k to £100k.
7. This is not an operating theatre based role but it is a job that requires the whole hospital to be managed from a sales point of view.
The ideal candidate:
* Min 4 years max 10 years BDM / Sales experience.
* Based in the North of England.
* Has undertaken sales into the NHS before and understands the NHS structures.
* Well organized and very ambitious to succeed with a solid track record.
* Great product demonstration skills including physical and virtual situations.
* Great at building customer relationships.
* Hungry to succeed.
Remuneration:
OTE £90,000 (split into a base and bonus typically £55k base £35k bonus based on history of success).
