GROUP SUPERVISOR SCHOOL CATERING
We have an exciting opportunity for an experienced, hands-on, and outstanding Group Supervisor to join our team at "Fresh Kitchen." You'll oversee the operations of a brand new, high-specification cooking and dining facility at St Peter's Church of England Primary School in Rochdale, catering to up to 250 pupils and staff daily. St Peter’s is a two-form entry primary school serving the local community and the pupils are outstandingly behaved. It is well positioned, being just off the M62, which makes us easily accessible from Manchester, Stockport and surrounding areas.
As the Kitchen Supervisor, you will be passionate about creating fabulous food, going the extra mile to deliver exceptional customer service, and liaising professionally with the Head Teacher, Governors, and other stakeholders. You will be joining a team of dedicated, happy staff who are committed to giving the best for the pupils they cater for.
Key Responsibilities:
* Lead the day-to-day operations of the kitchen, ensuring high standards in food preparation and service.
* Develop and deliver high-quality, nutritious meals for pupils and staff.
* Build and maintain positive relationships with clients, including the Head Teacher, Governors, and stakeholders.
* Possess excellent culinary skills and a passion for producing high-quality meals.
* Demonstrate enthusiasm and an innovative approach to food service.
* Have strong leadership skills, capable of managing, training, developing, and motivating a team.
* Be passionate about educating the next generation about food and nutrition.
* Ensure high standards of food hygiene and health & safety regulations are met.
* Be knowledgeable about dietary requirements and allergens.
* Maintain good stock control practices.
* Communicate effectively and possess strong organisational skills.
* Display flexibility and a positive "can-do" attitude.
