Fleet and Battery Staff has the main objective of obtaining, collecting, and maintaining documents regarding Fleet Management and the Battery Department. Also monitors the status of vehicles for maintenance and batteries for evaluation.
Fleet Management Department
Fleet Maintenance:
* Coordinate with the fleet mechanic and vehicle assigned user to update the vehicle preventive maintenance schedule.
* Coordinate with purchasing staff to fill out Vehicle Request for Maintenance (VRM) forms for the acquisition of the purchase order.
* Monitoring of VRM Status (for PO making, supplier need sample, waiting for requested parts availability, waiting for cash payment, done, etc.)
* Drive and pick up items from the supplier if needed.
Vehicle Maintenance Cost:
* Monitor the cost of repairs and maintenance per vehicle.
Vehicle Checking:
* Perform a visual checklist on the vehicle to be issued for borrowed and temporary use.
Emergency Response and Maintenance Support:
* Coordinate with drivers, fleet mechanics, and purchasing staff in case of accidents or breakdowns.
Inventory Management:
* Monitor and maintain an inventory of spare parts, tools, and equipment needed for vehicle repairs and maintenance.
Battery Technical Department
Battery Inventory:
* Monitor the status of stocks in distribution centers
* Monitor all stocks whose lengthy stocking will cause the warranty period to alter.
Battery Warranty Claims:
* Monitor the Viber group for a battery warranty claim.
* Coordinate with the battery technical personnel assigned to the area.
* Monitor the status of the request for evaluation (for pick-up, for evaluation, for approval, for return delivery, etc.).
Other Duties and Responsibilities
Customer Technical Seminar
* Assist the battery manager in the technical seminar.
* Perform a hands-on demonstration of battery evaluation.
* Perform an actual demo on how to use a hydrometer.
* Perform an actual demo on how to use Load Tester.
* Perform an actual demo on how to charge a battery.
* Customer Technical Visit
* Schedule of going around the customer to evaluate the customer store, the performance, and the quality of the product
* Fill out an evaluation report for the store.
* Perform other duties and responsibilities that may be assigned from time to time.
Minimum Qualifications:
* College Degree
* Any Bachelor’s Degree, preferably Engineering (Mechanical, Chemical, or other equivalent)
* At least three (3) Years working experience
