Level 3 Teaching Assistant Required in FULWOOD The Headteacher of a reputable Primary School in Kirkham is looking for a passionate, considerate, and hardworking Teaching Assistant to join their team This school boasts state of the art facilities for staff and children to maximise learning opportunities. This role is to provide full time class support within Early Years (Reception class). This role will be providing tailored support and will involve an intervention responsibility to deliver Phonics, Guided Reading and Numeracy intervention group interventions (1:2, 1:3, 1:4). The headteacher is keen to hear from experienced and newly qualified practitioners based in the local area; including practitioners qualified at degree level This is an excellent opportunity for a practitioner with experience of supporting young children. You will be joining an experienced team that creates an inclusive, innovative, and aspirational learning environment for the young people and families within the school and the local community. Essential Requirements: - Level 3 or equivalent childcare related qualification. - Experience of supporting young children. - Full time availability from 6th January 2025 onwards (8:45-15:20 Monday-Friday). - Experience of working alongside children within the last 18 months. - Good knowledge of Maths and English. Key Responsibilities: - Supporting young children within the class, delivering 1:1, 1:2, and 1:3 small group interventions. - Delivering Phonics, guided reading and Numeracy interventions to small groups. - Supporting the class teacher with the day-to-day runnings of the classroom. - Being an excellent role model to children across the school. Rates of pay are competitive and start at £13 per hour per hour paid on a weekly basis.
