Job summary An exciting opportunity has arisen for a Physiotherapy Assistant to join the service as Bank staff in the Physiotherapy team in the East area of BCUHB The successful candidate will support the physiotherapists and the multi disciplinary team to provide physiotherapy intervention and facilitate hospital discharges. The post will involve working with a variety of patients, which includes patients who have suffered a stroke, have parkinson's disease, orthopaedic patients requiring rehabilitation and care of the elderly. There is also the opportunity to support classes/work in the community. Main duties of the job The successful candidate will need to be able to work well on their own and as part of a team. They need to have good communication skills, be confident, friendly and approachable and able to work flexibly to meet the needs of the service. Training and ongoing development will be available from a supportive, established team in a beautiful part of the UK. The ability to speak Welsh is desirable for this post; Welsh and/or English speakers are equally welcome to apply.
