Venesky-Brown’s client, a public sector organisation in Dunfermline, is currently looking to recruit a Sales Assistant for a 3 month contract on a rate of £12/hour PAYE. The working hours per week for this role is 22.5 hours/3 days.
Responsibilities:
- Provide customers with excellent service and the best in-store experience to help maximise sales and the profitability of the shop.
-- Manage stock processes to ensure correct density levels, processing to agreed quality and rotation so that stock moves quickly.
- Help to maintain a high standard of visual merchandising, display and housekeeping standards throughout the shop.
- Ensure the smooth operational running of the shop.
- Serving customers at the till ensuring they receive and easy, seamless and personalised experience.
- Be a brand ambassador for organisation promoting and bringing to life the communication of key activities and messages to the customer.
- Open and close the shop when required and complete day end cashing up.
Essential Skills:
- Has a passion for second hand clothing, with a strong interest in fashion and knowledge of brands.
- Enjoys collaborating and working as part of a team.
- Has stamina to work in an incredibly busy retail store.
- Has a good track record of reliability in previous posts, with previous customer service experience.
- Excellent communication skills.
- A creative thinker, who uses their initiative to find the best possible solution in every situation.
- Willing to be flexible with working hours and days.
