This is an extremely satisfying and diverse role for a very established national recognized not-for-profit organization. The Space Centre, which is part of Creative Support, has been offering unique and top-class sensory facilities for over 30 years. They are a large community partner in Preston and are looking to develop their community links and fundraising support through this exciting new role.
We are looking for a highly motivated, experienced individual with great organizational skills who will lead on the upkeep and development of the facilities at the centre. The role will also add to the effectiveness and efficiency of the centre and ensure the services are well provided, safe, and providing unique sensory services for the thousands of vulnerable people who use the Space Centre each year. An ideal candidate will possess knowledge of facilities management, building repairs, and health and safety oversight with good business acumen for systems. You will have good technical and digital skills as the centre uses a range of technologies to provide the right sensory experience. You will work alongside an established and experienced team to ensure sensory space is operational at all times and well utilized through a complex and effective booking system.
