What you'll be doing:
1. Collaborating with Engineering and Quality teams to translate design concepts into precise CAD documentation.
2. Developing and managing 3D CAD models, fabrication drawings, and detailed specifications for medical device components.
3. Generating and maintaining accurate Bills of Materials (BOMs).
4. Ensuring all design and documentation comply with Geometric Dimensioning and Tolerancing (GD&T) standards (ASME Y14.5).
5. Managing project documentation through a structured QMS, ensuring adherence to industry standards.
Requirements:
1. At least 5 years of experience in drafting machined, casted, sheet metal, or plastic molded components.
2. Proven expertise in SolidWorks for modeling complex 3D systems and drafting components.
3. Strong understanding of GD&T principles and standards.
4. Experience in generating and managing BOMs, Engineering Change Requests (ECRs), and project documentation through QMS platforms.
Preferred Qualifications:
1. Experience with mechanical design for medical devices.
2. Familiarity with cable drawings and related specifications.
