Job Title: SEN Tutor Salary: £25 - £30 Per hour Job Description: Job Duties: The SEN Tutor will be responsible for providing tailored support and guidance to students with Special Educational Needs (SEN). This includes creating individualised learning plans, delivering engaging lessons, assessing student progress, and adapting teaching methods to meet the diverse needs of each student. Required Qualifications: Applicants for this role must hold a relevant teaching qualification and have demonstrable experience working with students with SEN. A solid understanding of SEN strategies and techniques is essential. Education: A minimum of a Bachelor's degree in Education or a related field is required for this position. Experience: Previous experience working as an SEN Tutor or in a similar role is highly desirable. Knowledge and Skills: The ideal candidate will have a strong knowledge of SEN best practises, excellent communication skills, the ability to build rapport with students, and a patient and empathetic approach to teaching. Preferred Qualifications: Additional certifications or training in Special Education or SEN teaching would be advantageous. Working Conditions: This role involves working part-time hours on a temporary basis, providing support to students in Oxfordshire.
