Business Development Manager – Logistics & Non-Food Sectors (Field Based) Role Overview: As a Sales Executive, you will play a pivotal role in driving sales and expanding our presence within the Non-Food and Logistics Market Sectors. You will be responsible for developing new business opportunities, nurturing client relationships, and ensuring seamless integration of our solutions. Key Responsibilities:
* Business Development:
o Develop and execute strategies to identify and pursue new business opportunities within target markets.
o Prospect, qualify, and close new sales opportunities to achieve quarterly sales targets.
o Conduct thorough market research to understand customer needs and competitive landscape.
* Client Relationship Management:
o Build and nurture strong, long-lasting relationships with key stakeholders and decision-makers.
o Collaborate effectively with internal teams (such as product development and customer support) to ensure alignment and delivery of solutions that meet client requirements.
* Sales Execution:
o Initiate contact with potential clients, set up meetings, and conduct compelling product demonstrations.
o Present customised solutions to prospective clients, effectively communicating the value propositions and benefits of UK products and services.
o Prepare and present quotations, negotiate terms, and close sales deals.
* Market Expertise:
o Stay updated on industry trends, market activities, and competitors to provide strategic insights and recommendations.
o Continuously improve knowledge of products and services to effectively address customer inquiries and concerns.
Skills and Qualifications:
* Proven experience in sales, business development, or account management within the Non-Food or Logistics sectors is preferred.
* Strong communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to build rapport and effectively convey complex technical information.
* Excellent negotiation and problem-solving abilities, with a strategic mindset to evaluate options and drive results.
* Highly organized and self-motivated, with the ability to manage multiple priorities and deadlines.
Education and Experience:
* Bachelor's degree in Business Administration, Marketing, Engineering, or a related field.
* Experience in a similar role, preferably within the capital equipment or technology solutions industry.
