Initially this role will be for 8 months on a temporary basis with the possibility of an extension based on performance. Full-time hours are available rotating bi weekly. One week will be Monday to Friday and the following Tuesday to Saturday, 9am until 5pm. The hourly rate is £12.59 per hour. The main duties will include dealing with members of the public in person, handling telephone queries, operating computerised booking systems, word processing and maintaining filing systems. The successful candidate will also be responsible for handling and selling Museum stock, stock control and dealing with cash and card payments.
