The Role As our IT Technical Director, you'll be responsible for shaping and delivering IT services across the trust. You'll lead a skilled IT team, support digital transformation, and ensure our schools have robust, secure, and innovative IT systems. Key Responsibilities: Lead IT strategy and service delivery across all RLT schools. Develop and implement Google Workspace for Education across the trust. Oversee the IT support model, ensuring a high-quality service for all schools. Manage IT assets, contracts, and supplier relationships. Support the onboarding and integration of new schools into the trust. Lead a collaborative and high-performing IT team. Ensure IT security, compliance, and disaster recovery planning. The Ideal Candidate They're looking for a strategic IT leader with a passion for education and a strong technical background. You should have experience in IT management within a multi-site organisation and a proven ability to lead digital change. About you: A degree in IT or equivalent experience. Strong leadership and project management skills. Experience deploying Google for Education at scale. Knowledge of Windows, ChromeOS, networking, and cybersecurity. The ability to communicate complex IT solutions to non-technical stakeholders. A proactive, problem-solving mindset with a commitment to continuous improvement. A full UK driving licence (travel between schools is required).
