To continue to meet the demands of our continued growth, an exciting opportunity has arisen for a talented and highly motivated, Employment Lawyer to join us.
Rinew Legal are a rapidly growing legal practice based in the centre of Leeds. We represent a wide range of clients in a number of sectors, ranging from small owner managed businesses to large corporates.
Role Description
You will be advising on all aspects of employment law, including performance and absence management, disciplinary and grievance procedures, restructures, redundancies, unfair dismissals and exits, TUPE, discrimination and harassment in the workplace.
You will also be drafting all types of employment documentation including contracts, policies/handbooks and settlement agreements. You will act for employers in the employment tribunal.
This means you will need detailed technical expertise, be commercially minded with the ability to build and develop relationships and business development opportunities with clients and contacts.
Qualifications
* You will have experience of dealing with the matters set out above, ideally 2 years + PQE.
* This role would suit either a Solicitor or Chartered Legal Executive.
* Happy to consider part time hours for the right candidate
* If you are newly qualified you will have completed an Employment seat.
* Good understanding of employment law and up-to-date knowledge of developments in these fields
* You will likely live within the Yorkshire region or within one hour of our Leeds office
* Strong interpersonal and teamwork skills, with the ability to build and maintain effective relationships with colleagues and clients
* Ability to resolve complex issues in a fast-paced environment
