Key Responsibilities:
1. Inspire and Educate: Deliver high-quality teaching on a range of further education courses, ensuring each student reaches their full potential.
2. Lead and Innovate: Take charge of the development of a specific subject area within the curriculum, guiding your students and peers with your industry expertise.
3. Manage Programmes: Lead and coordinate course teams, taking ownership of a study programme from planning to delivery.
4. Engage in Research: Undertake significant research and consultancy activities to ensure our curriculum remains cutting-edge and relevant to industry needs.
5. Master Classes: Share your advanced knowledge through master classes, enriching the learning experience for our students.
6. Assess and Support: Utilise appropriate assessment methods to evaluate student performance, ensuring learning and teaching goals are met and recorded accurately.
7. Course Verification: Oversee the verification process to maintain the highest standards in course delivery and assessment.
What We're Looking For:
8. A deep passion for brickwork and a commitment to excellence in education.
9. Proven experience in brickwork, with a strong background in teaching or industry.
10. Excellent leadership and organisational skills, with the ability to manage and motivate course teams.
11. A creative and innovative approach to teaching, with the ability to inspire students at all levels.
12. Strong communication and interpersonal skills, capable of engaging effectively with students, staff, and industry professionals.
13. A relevant teaching qualification (or willingness to achieve one) and experience in curriculum development are highly desirable.

Lets Teach Programme
Let’s Teach The LET’s teach programme supports new members of teaching staff in terms of college systems and key teaching and learning areas including new staff lesson visits and postcard peeps. Each new member of staff has an allocated Lead Practitioner who works closely with them throughout the programme.
Let’s Bloom
The LET’s Bloom Programme aims to connect our experienced and qualified teachers to share best practice and support continued risk-taking as we continue to add depth to our teaching craft. Teachers volunteer on this one year programme, working closely with the Learning Enhancement Team, capturing their experimentation in a journal.
