Our client is a leading global engineering firm renowned for its expertise in designing and delivering projects within the water sector. They are currently expanding their commercial team in Scotland and are seeking an experienced Sub Agent to join their team for projects in the west of Scotland. Applications are welcomed from experienced Senior Engineers looking to take the next step in their career, particularly those with experience in the water industry.
Job Details
* Position: Sub Agent
* Location: Perthshire
* Sector: Civil Engineering (Water)
* Contract: 3–6 months
* Start Date: Immediate
* Rate: Competitive rates
Responsibilities
* Provide engineering expertise
* Interpret drawings and specifications
* Supervise and mentor on-site teams
* Ensure all staff are trained and competent
* Maintain accurate records of work
* Uphold high performance standards for safety, environment, and quality
Qualifications And Experience
* Qualifications: Degree, HND, or HNC in Engineering (or equivalent)
* Certifications: DOMS, SMSTS, Temporary Works Coordinator, and First Aid are essential
* Experience: Proven experience as a Sub Agent in the civil engineering sector, ideally with a focus on water projects
* Background: Previous experience working with a main contractor in civil engineering
* Competencies: Strong communication and leadership skills
* Licence: Full UK driving licence
