As an Apprentice at Riverside Training, you will gain hands-on experience in a dynamic and supportive environment. Your role is designed to offer a well-rounded introduction to administrative support and learner management, ensuring you develop key skills while contributing effectively to the team.
Responsible to: Office Manager
Roles and Responsibilities:
1. Conduct Enrolments: Facilitate the enrolment process for new applicants, ensuring all necessary documentation is accurately completed.
2. Compliance Checks: Verify learner sign-ups to ensure all compliance requirements are met.
3. Document Management: Follow up on missing documents or evidence from learners and employers, ensuring timely completion and accuracy.
4. Registration: Ensure all learners are properly registered with Awarding Organisations and End-Point Assessment Organisations (EPAOs).
5. Examination and Assessment Coordination: Schedule learners for examinations and end-point assessments in accordance with Awarding Organisations and EPAO procedures.
6. Invigilation: Prepare for and conduct examination invigilation in line with company policies, maintaining a secure and fair testing environment.
7. Achievement Recording: Promptly communicate learner achievements and update records accordingly.
8. Certification: Oversee the claiming and distribution of learner certificates to ensure they are sent to the correct address.
9. Breaks in Learning and Withdrawals: Accurately process breaks in learning and withdrawals, updating records as needed.
10. Audit Preparation: Assist in the preparation and collation of paperwork required for external audits, ensuring compliance with regulatory standards.
11. Administrative Support: Provide administrative support to assigned Learning & Development Coaches, contributing to their effectiveness and efficiency.
12. Reception Duties: Greet and assist guests and visitors, ensuring a professional and welcoming atmosphere.
13. Telephone Management: Answer telephone calls on behalf of the company, conveying messages with clarity and professionalism via email or Teams.
14. Office Organisation: Support office organisation tasks including room preparation, and ordering catering, stationery, and janitorial supplies.
15. Filing Systems: Maintain physical and electronic office filing systems with accuracy and efficiency.
16. Communication: Action and respond to emails and other internal and external communications promptly.
17. Professional Development: Engage in staff development opportunities and participate in continuous professional development activities.
18. Policy Adherence: Work in alignment with company policies and procedures.
19. Additional Duties: Perform any other duties as required to meet the needs of the post and the company.
